2nd Manchester Medical Careers Fair

16th March 2011 (2pm-6pm) | University Place, University of Manchester

Last year’s Medical Careers Fair was attended by over 800 students and Foundation Doctors from the North West Deanery, from whom feedback was incredibly positive! This year we are improving the profile of the event based on your feedback, by integrating the skills workshops with the specialty seminar rooms, inviting representatives from a wider range of clinical specialties and providing certificates of attendance at the end of the event in exchange for a completed feedback form.

This year’s plenaries will be presented by Professor David Thompson, the new dean of the Medical School, on changes to the medical curriculum and how they will benefit current students at the University of Manchester; and Professor Ashley Woodcock, President Elect of MMS on current research in asthma.
