Dear colleague,

We are delighted to announce the2017 Scalpel Committee applications are now open. We have always looked for motivated students who have a strong interest in Surgery. Our aim is to form a great team that will improve on what has been done by the society in the past several years.

The committee aims to promote the interest in Surgery among undergraduate students and to run an active society via a wide range of events throughout the calendar year. The team usually meets once weekly, however, we understand sometimes other priorities may mean an occasional meeting is missed.
