I’m a second-year student and I will be based in Wythenshawe as of August 2012. I joined the society with an open and intrigued mind towards a potential career in surgery. I was a regular attendee to Scalpel’s lectures last year and found them informative and fascinating – which prompted me to join the committee! At this stage, I am simply curious to discover what surgery really entails and I’m excited about being involved with Scalpel activities this year.
