Jason is a third year medical student at the University of Manchester and is currently based at Salford Royal Hospital. Prior to entering medical school, he spent several years in sub-saharan africa volunteering in various humanitarian development projects and studying tropical diseases as a clinical lab assistant. He is also a graduate of Trinity College at the Univeristy of Toronto where he studied physics and human biology.

He has been with the Scalpel committee for the past 2 years and is keen to continue supporting the society and help fellow medical students develop their interests in surgery.
