Hi, I’m Amar Patel. I’m currently a 4th year medical student and the Hope representative for Scalpel. I have always been impressed by the society and believe it offers students rare opportunities to explore a career in surgery. I will be helping to organise and increase the awareness of Scalpel events, and hope to encourage many of you to get involved this year.
