4th Annual ATRIUM Conference

ATRIUM (Academic Training in Undergraduate Medicine) is pleased to announce its 4th Annual Conference to be held in Edinburgh on the 5th of November, 2011.
ATRIUM was established three years ago for medical students at the University of Edinburgh with an interest in academic medicine. For the past three years, we have successfully run the annual ATRIUM Conference, allowing delegates to present research projects they had undertaken in the forms of posters and oral presentations. Last year’s conference attracted over 100 delegates from universities all over the U.K.
This is an excellent opportunity to submit an abstract of your work to a national conference and get experience presenting in front of peers and academic staff. Submitany of your research or audits – be it your summer vacation, intercalated or SSC project!
Even if you don’t have an abstract to submit – if you’re thinking of an academic career,or just want to find out more about it, informative and entertaining talks will be givenon the day by notable academics on a day in the life of a clinical academic, the Edinburgh academic programme and the impact of world-renowned translational research.
Abstract submission is open NOW and will close on the 7th of October, with accepted abstracts notified by email by the 17th of October.
This year the conference is pleased to be able to offer individualised feedback on your presentation, overall best presentations and best in category prizes as well as thewinning abstracts being published in a peer-reviewed journal!
Registration is only £10 and includes lunch on the day!
