Warwick Journal Club – Undergraduate Research Conference

The Warwick Medical School Journal club proudly presents its inaugural Undergraduate Research Conference. This event is going to be an exciting opportunity for students to present their Research, Audits and Case reports.

All abstracts accepted for this research conference will also be published by The Reinvention Journal of Undergraduate researchand there are incredible opportunities to win fantastic Prizes and Medals. Talks on new frontiers in medicine will be delivered by World experts in the field.

Workshops will also be held on the day, these will include:

• Anatomy Workshop – with Anatomical plastinates by Gunther Von Hagens- led by Surgical Society
• Suturing Skills workshop – in collaboration with ASiT
• Case report Workshop – How to write a Medical case report by the British Medical Journal
• Research Ethics Workshop – in collaboration with the Institute of Medical Ethics
• Medical Careers Workshop – in partnership with Windsmill Careers
• Critical appraisal Workshop – led by the Journal club
• Pre-Hospital Care – in collaboration with the Society for Trauma and emergency practice
